Hey there 👋
Continuing my series of country guides, I’ve put together a list of helpful links for those considering a move to Estonia.
Here we go:

Other useful resources:

Tallinn Migration Centre (offers a practical guide on settling in Tallinn, including information on documents, employment, housing, and more)
✅ Job search: Companies hiring from outside Estonia
Estonia has a relatively small population (around 1.37 million people), so employers often look abroad to fill roles, especially in the tech sector. Many startups and tech companies use English as their working language and have experience relocating foreign talent.
That doesn’t mean finding a job in Estonia from abroad is effortless. Naturally, employers still prefer local candidates when possible, and competition for jobs has increased in recent years, especially in the tech sector. However, international hiring remains common in Estonia, particularly for experienced tech professionals with in-demand skills.
As an example, Bolt states that its Global Mobility team has relocated more than 1,000 employees from over 80 countries and provides support with visas, flights, temporary accommodation, and settling in Estonia. You can check out Bolt’s openings here: https://bolt.eu/en/careers/positions.
Other companies with a track record of sponsoring visas and relocating employees:
Veriff – https://www.veriff.com/careers
Wise – https://wise.jobs
Starship – https://www.starship.xyz/careers
Pipedrive – https://www.pipedrive.com/jobs/open-positions?location=estonia
Speaking of multinational companies, Estonia is also home to a major Microsoft engineering hub. Other international employers with a presence in Estonia include Playtech, CGI, and Ericsson, to name a few.
✅ Job search: Local job sites
As in many countries, LinkedIn is a good starting point for your job search in Estonia, but it isn’t the only resource. Here are some local job platforms worth checking out:
CV Keskus (one of Estonia’s largest and most visited job portals) – https://www.cvkeskus.ee
CV.ee (another major local job board with thousands of vacancies across industries) – https://www.cv.ee/en
Work in Estonia Jobs (Estonian government-supported platform) – https://workinestonia.com/job
The latter is aimed particularly at international talent. It aggregates relevant English-language job postings from major local job portals, including CV.ee and CV Keskus.
For tech and startup jobs, I also recommend checking out MeetFrank. The platform is widely used by startups and established tech companies in Estonia to connect with potential candidates.

That’s it! If you know of any other helpful Estonia-related resources worth adding to this list, please share them in the comments.
Best,
Andrew

Would like to add that Bolt also sponsors visas for the senior roles :)
